inspired a little by fallout, but mostly by posadism and Tom Lehrer. Personally, I'm a posadist, I like the grim-ness of it, but it's also a very exciting idea. I think that's we are all so obsessed with the idea of an apocalypse, creatively; I think we all want that massive overhaul of society. I'm working on a sci-fi/fantasy comic about a war that happens somewhere in the near future, and all kind of weird and wacky surreal shenanigans start to happen. But enough rambling about that, I think there's a real sort of jaunty vibe to nuclear fallout. I think if I found myself surviving long enough to see a world devastated by a bomb but the radiation having worn off... I think I would hardly be able to contain my excitement! I'm researching potential ways of building up some kind of immunity or resistance to radiation. Anywho, regardless, in any case, I hope you enjoy this short playlist!
